A narrator begins to tell children the story of Joseph and his coat of many colours. The biblical characters then come to life to enact the story of Joseph and his eleven brothers.
The events are all included. The sale into Egypt, work in Potiphar's household, predictions of things to come, famine and a final reunion of the 12 borthers and their father.
All these events are set to a score of memorable tunes in a variety of musical style.
A Message from the Director
A Broadway show with a biblical setting seems to be a contradiction. But left in the hands of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Tim Rice it it not only possible but highly successful.
This is definitely a family show with its catchymusic and colourful constumes that portray a family story.
Hope to see you at the show!
Liz Brown
